FIGHTING FOR FAIRNESS, EQUALITY & RACIAL JUSTICE FOR EVERYONE

The CUPE Ontario Racial Justice Committee is hosting a community meeting in Hamilton to promote fairness for all workers of colour. The event will be held on Saturday, September 19th from 10:00am-4:00pm at Hamilton Indian Friendship Centre 34 Ottawa St. North, Hamilton. Light refreshments will be provided. The event will bring awareness of challenges experienced by racialized workers in their communities and workplaces, including racism and precarious working conditions.

September General Membership Meeting

Our September General Membership meeting is on Thursday, September 24 at 5:00pm in Sankey Chamber. It is important for our members to come out to GMMs because we are entering into a bargaining year so we need your input on what you would like to improve and/or include our collective agreement. We hope you can be there! Please let the union know beforehand if you need to cover your child care needs or require special accommodation.

CUPE 4207 Annual Fall Social

CUPE 4207 Fall SocialIt’s here again our Annual Fall Social! This year our social will be held on Monday, September 21 at the Merchant Ale House. The event starts at 7:30pm. It is a great chance to socialize and meet fellow members. Come on out to eat and drink all on the union’s tab!
