Our local is just a small part of CUPE National, the largest labour union in Canada. The Canadian Union of Public Employees is Canada’s largest union, with 715,000 members across the country. CUPE’s constitution guides our bylaws and conduct. We are affiliated with CUPE Ontario, CUPE Ontario University Workers Coordinating Committee (OUWCC), the Ontario Federation of Labour, and the Canadian Labour Congress.
At the local level, we are affiliated with the CUPE Niagara District Council and the Niagara Regional Labour Council (see below).
We are also members of the Canadian Association of Labour Media (CALM).
And we are not alone at Brock, other workers are also represented by labour unions: OSSTF Local 35, BUFA, CUPE 1295, and IATSE. Brock works because we do!
