SHHHHHH Anti-Social
Hello Members! The union is offering the Pond Inlet at Brock as a quiet place to grade exams, essays and any other end of term projects. Everyone is welcomed to come and quietly work. We will have refreshments throughout the day and some lunch as well. Come on out. Make sure you bring enough pens, but we have some too if you need them. Monday April 14th 9am to 3pm.

Bargaining Meeting Rescheduled
Hello all members. With the election of Union executives taking up a lot of energy we have moved the Unit 1 Bargaining update to April the 2nd. Come see presentations at 11am and 5pm. We have also added an online portion and you can join via zoom with the QR code below for either 11am or 5pm

The union has 6 e-tickets to the NGRF dinner Fundraiser. If you would like a ticket please email here. Please see the poster below. The event will take place March 25th at 7pm.

CUPE 4207 Elections are on.
Watch your personal and Brock email for the first round of voting in the CUPE 4207 election. Check out the voting tab here tomorrow for candidate biographies and speeches. Voting opens March 19th about 5:30 and will end 48 hours later. After the votes are counted, another round of voting will commence for new positions.

All Union Luncheon with Guest Speaker
Everyone is welcomed to join all the unions across campus in a luncheon and discussion. Far too often we are separated by jobs and departments, and we all want the same thing, strong working conditions and respect. CUPE 4207, 1295, OSSTF, IATSE and other unions on campus are offering a free luncheon in the Pond Inlet April 1st, 2025 between 12pm – 1:30pm.

Bargaining Priorities Meeting
All members are welcomed to learn the results of the bargaining survey. Presentations will be at 11am and at 5pm in Welch Hall 325. A discussion will follow where executive and bargaining team members will answer questions.

Election Forum
This Tuesday March 18th at 4:30pm, candidates for union positions will present their speeches and introduce themselves to the members. Meet the individuals eager to support the union before casting your vote. Voting rules will also be outlined. Register to attend here. Please register 24 hours in advance for any elections that take place in this meeting. All are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

International Women’s Day March 8th
The Union is proud to support International Women’s Day this Saturday. We recongnize and support all women in our union and community. We want to also take the time to celebrate the excellent work of the Woman’s Subcommittee and welcome all members to participate in the next meeting.
