We have an important ask. The elections for mayors, school board trustees and councillors will take place on Monday, October 26th, with voting occurring all over the province. The positions may not seem as glamorous as the Federal elections, but this is extremely important. Who represents us in our region will affect how our cities are governed and by whose interests. This includes access to our water, and CUPE has made it clear that our water is not for sale to corporate interests. The Niagara Labour Council has endorsed several candidates in the region, and we urge you to learn about these leaders and get out to vote. This election will determine the future of our region.
